I'm a 57 Year old Disabled man. I have worked for 37.5 continuous years. This Podcast Chronicles the struggles I have while making the journey of life. From putting food on the table to looking after the car and cat. From doing the shopping and going to work. From going to the gym and socialising. And carrying out my political activism. I then keep the Diary of Real Britain to tell people of this journey. To tell them of the Britain I live in.
The Diary of Real Britain
Episode 69 Monday 28th April
Monday. First day of proper rest.and again no gym. I just hope that I don't get bored. Tuesday. Again nothing. However in the evening its annual Parish meeting with a different format. Wednesday. Today I head off to Bar Hill to see my mum. I enjoy my visit even though my mum is complaining about her ailments. I tell her its that's the joy of ageing. Then home. Thursday. I get up early as I am due at a polling station by nine. I carry on with this throughout the day. And then return home. Friday. I spend most of the day at the count in Soham. We the Labour party didn't win any seats as usual in the County Elections and we lost the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mayoral Election. Then back home. Saturday. Back to the grind in the gym. Sunday. Its back! Sunday Politics East an T.v. the its off to Bar Hill for the weekly shop and then back home. And then in the evening I help cook Sunday Roast.
