I'm a 57 Year old Disabled man. I have worked for 37.5 continuous years. This Podcast Chronicles the struggles I have while making the journey of life. From putting food on the table to looking after the car and cat. From doing the shopping and going to work. From going to the gym and socialising. And carrying out my political activism. I then keep the Diary of Real Britain to tell people of this journey. To tell them of the Britain I live in.

Episode 70 Monday 5th May
Monday. Today is a Bank Holiday. My Pt has decided that he doesn't work on Bank Holidays any more. So I spend the morning searching the internet and then in the afternoon off to the gym to train myself. Tuesday. The tourist Season has started in earnest! The first two buildings were clean but the buildings on Jesus Green and Quayside were grim. I then left work slightly late. Wednesday. Today was the same. However I tackled the graffiti at Jesus Green. I left for home slightly earlier than last night. Thursday. Today I bumped into Jim and antonio. They have been made redundant the worst news ever. I carry on as normal. I leave for home on time. Friday. With the impending redundancy of my friends I have a heavy heart. The buildings I clean are clean so its an easy day. Then its leaving work slightly late as I hand in the Keys at lion yard and home. Saturday. Today starts off with the usual gym session starting at 11. Then its straight home after the Hr. Sunday. Its the usual Sunday Politics East on T.v. Then its off to bar Hill for the weekly shop and then home. Then in the evening I help with Sunday Roast.
